McKinley Dunn maintains a broad, well-rounded litigation practice.
McKinley’s experience spans the litigation spectrum, including breach-of-contract, fraud, personal injury, medical malpractice, real estate disputes, insurance bad faith and other commercial tort claims. He helps clients navigate all stages of civil litigation, from pre-suit through trial. He also represents automotive and other manufacturers in cases involving product liability. McKinley has particular experience in civil discovery, along with drafting and arguing motions.
A Birmingham native, McKinley graduated magna cum laude from the University of Alabama School of Law, where he served as a Special Works Editor for the Alabama Law Review and was a member of the Bench and Bar Legal Honor Society.
Outside of the office, McKinley has served on the Junior Boards for Cornerstone Schools of Alabama and Ronald McDonald House Charities. He currently serves on the Executive Committee for the Young Lawyers Section of the Birmingham Bar Association.
McKinley enjoys cheering on the Crimson Tide football team, playing golf and cooking — especially if a grill is involved. He and his wife Hannah (who is also an attorney) have two Doberman Pinschers: Jackson and Winston. More importantly, McKinley has two daughters, Josie and Evelyn, who keep him very busy outside of the office!
