Jessica Wehby provides clients with client-focused, case-specific e-discovery solutions.
As Lightfoot’s Director of E-Discovery Support, Jessica plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between litigation teams, e-discovery vendors and records-management personnel, ensuring the preservation, collection, processing and production of documents and electronically stored information (ESI). She works closely with the firm’s trial lawyers, their clients and opposing parties to collect and review all electronic information, while following court-mandated protocols.
A licensed attorney in the State of Alabama, Jessica has nearly a decade of experience as both a paralegal and an attorney. Her unique perspective equips her with helpful insight into the nuanced needs of both the firm and its clients, enabling her to successfully manage ESI challenges and contribute to the firm’s success. She also has experience with many platforms including Relativity, Lexbe, Disco, Logikcull. Recent examples of Jessica’s work include:
- Providing e-discovery solutions for a plaintiff’s contract case with more than 2 million documents.
- Supporting a construction law matter with hundreds of thousands of documents.
- Managing an environmental litigation case with more than 20 million documents.
Jessica is a member of the Alabama State Bar. She is an adjunct professor at the Birmingham School of Law, where she teaches electronic discovery.
Outside of the office, Jessica is wife and stepmother to two sons and three dogs, George Lucas, Steven Spielberg and Oliver Stone. She is a member of the Birmingham Visionary of the Year Leadership Committee for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, and a member of the Independent Presbyterian Church. She also enjoys cooking, traveling, reading and watching SEC football.
