George uses his legal experience to serve clients in complex trial and appellate litigation.
George helps clients navigate tortuous legal matters across a variety of industries. His practice focuses on appeals and critical motions in federal and state courts across the country.
Prior to joining Lightfoot, George served as a law clerk for Judge James E. Graves, Jr. of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and for Judge Carlton W. Reeves of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi.
George received his J.D. with honors from the Emory University School of Law, where he served as an executive managing editor for the Emory Law Journal. George received his B.A. summa cum laude from Texas Southern University in Political Science.
Outside the office, George enjoys hiking, biking, and playing with his dog Gideon. He is also a practitioner of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
