Jack Sharman Named to American Lawyer's Inaugural List of 'South Trailblazers'
October 1, 2021
Lightfoot, Franklin & White LLC partner Jack Sharman has been named a 2021 South Trailblazer by The American Lawyer, which introduced the new award this year.
Sharman was recognized for his role in many of the South's most recent white-collar and high-profile investigations. He will be profiled alongside other honorees in the publication's October/November issue.
The Trailblazer series is a special supplement that spotlights a handful of individuals from various practice areas that are “truly agents of change” and who have “moved the needle in the legal industry.”
Sharman, who leads the firm's White-Collar Criminal Defense & Corporate Investigations practice, has spent his career at the forefront of high-profile investigations. His experience has included: serving as special counsel during the Whitewater investigation involving Bill and Hillary Clinton; leading the impeachment probe of Alabama Governor Robert Bentley; conducting a review of Huntsville police actions during George Floyd protests; and, currently, serving as special counsel in a probe of Georgia’s 2020 presidential election focused on a call between then-President Donald Trump and Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger.
