Rachel Lary Participates PLAC 2021 Fall Conference Mock Trial
October 6, 2021
Lightfoot partner Rachel Lary recently served as plaintiff’s counsel in a Mock Jury Demonstration for the PLAC 2021 Fall Conference. The mock trial focused on jurors’ assessment of defense attorney styles, science and problematic evidence. Lary’s presentation was met with enthusiastic comments on Rachel’s preparedness, poise and the effectiveness of her opening statement.
Lary has spent over a decade in the courtroom handling cases in a broad array of practice areas, from business disputes, product liability claims and medical malpractice, to trust and estate disputes. She currently serves as the firms Associate Committee Chair and was recently recognized as a Birmingham Business Journal’s 2021 Woman to Watch.
At last year’s virtual conference, Lightfoot partners Chandler Bailey and Harlan Prater participated in a panel discussion exploring the pandemic’s impact on future jurors.
