Rachel Lary Named One of The Birmingham Business Journal’s 2024 Top Birmingham Women

The Birmingham Business Journal has named Lightfoot, Franklin & White LLC partner Rachel M. Lary as one of its 2024 Top Birmingham Women. She will be recognized at the BBJ’s annual Women's Summit on Friday, Sept. 27.

This annual award highlights women who have established themselves as key leaders in their companies or organizations and showcases the achievements of the Magic City’s most accomplished women, making their mark in both the business world and the community.

“This is a great honor, and we are so proud of Rachel,” said Lightfoot’s managing partner Melody Eagan. “Rachel is a dedicated lawyer and an incredible mentor for young attorneys at the firm. She is incredibly deserving of being named a Top Birmingham Woman.” 

Lary leads Lightfoot’s product liability team for one of the largest automotive manufacturers, defending it against claims in 10 Southeastern states and beyond. Her product liability work includes defending a Fortune 500 company in high-stakes litigation across the country. She is a member of the Product Liability Advisory Council, serves as chair of the firm's Associate Committee and as chair of Girls Inc. of Alabama.
