Melody Eagan Speaks on ‘Women Lawyers Leading the Way’ Panel

On November 9, 2017, Lightfoot, Franklin & White LLC’s incoming managing partner Melody Eagan participated in a panel discussion hosted by the Birmingham Bar Association.

The “Women Lawyers Leading the Way” event featured six prominent female leaders from across the Birmingham legal community. Speakers addressed their career journeys and challenges, and offered advice on how to succeed as a woman in the legal profession.

Eagan will become Lightfoot’s managing partner on January 1, 2018 and will be the first woman to serve in that position at the firm. She has practiced law at Lightfoot for more than 20 years, focusing on product liability and personal injury cases. Eagan serves as regional counsel for a number of clients and has successfully tried numerous cases to verdict throughout the Southeast.
