Melody Eagan Named to the 2025 Lawdragon 100 Managing Partners You Need to Know Guide

Lawdragon has named Lightfoot, Franklin & White LLC managing partner Melody H. Eagan to its inaugural 2025 Lawdragon 100 Managing Partners You Need to Know guide. The list recognizes managing partners who are “dedicated to one of the hardest roles a lawyer can take on: professionally herding lawyers and shaping their passions and skills into a successful outcome for a client.” Of the 100 managing partners recognized, 31 female law firm leaders made the list. 

Eagan became Lightfoot’s first female managing partner in 2018. She has decades of experience defending high-stakes product liability and catastrophic injury lawsuits and has successfully tried numerous cases to verdict in the Southeast. Eagan also represents medical providers facing malpractice claims and serves as appellate counsel for multiple clients. Benchmark Litigation has named Eagan one of the country’s “Top 250 Women in Litigation” since 2019. She is also listed in The Best Lawyers in America© and Mid-South Super Lawyers, and as an Elite Boutique Trailblazer by the National Law Journal.
