Melody Eagan Named to 2020 ‘Who’s Who in Law’ by Birmingham Business Journal

Lightfoot, Franklin & White LLC managing partner Melody Eagan has been named to the Birmingham Business Journal’s “Who’s Who in Law” for 2020. She was recognized alongside other honorees in a special issue of the publication (subscription required.)

The annual feature recognizes local legal industry leaders across the Magic City, including managing partners, legal educators, bar association officers and others. This is the third consecutive year that Eagan has been recognized.

Eagan became Lightfoot’s first female managing partner in 2018. She has decades of experience in high stakes product liability and catastrophic injury cases and has successfully tried numerous cases to verdict throughout the Southeast. She also regularly represents medical providers in malpractice cases, as well as serves as appellate counsel for a number of clients. Benchmark Litigation recognizes Eagan as a “Litigation Star,” and she is listed in The Best Lawyers in America© and Mid-South Super Lawyers. She also has been recognized as an Elite Boutique Trailblazer by the National Law Journal. Eagan previously served as president of the Alabama Defense Lawyers Association.
