Liz Huntley Appears on Alabama State Bar’s ‘More than a Lawyer LIVE’

Lightfoot, Franklin & White LLC attorney Liz Huntley appeared on the Alabama State Bar’s show “More than a Lawyer LIVE” on October 17. Hosted by the state bar President Christy Crow, the Facebook Live show interviews lawyers from around the state about their lives outside of the law. 

Huntley spoke to Crow about the nonprofit leadership academy The Hope Institute that she co-founded and her passion for childhood education. In addition to handling large corporate litigation matters at Lightfoot, Huntley is a committed child advocate and provides legal and consultation services to government and nonprofit agencies that serve children and families. She is frequently appointed by judges to represent the legal interests of children in civil cases. 

Huntley also serves as a motivational speaker to various groups and organizations where she challenges audiences to adopt her “no excuses” philosophy. In 2015, she published her personal memoir, More Than A Bird, which recounts her childhood journey “from unimaginable darkness to radiance.”
