Lightfoot’s WOLF Hosts Eighth Annual Women’s Event
July 22, 2024
The Women of Lightfoot, Franklin & White LLC (WOLF) hosted the firm’s eighth annual summer women’s networking event on July 17, titled “Power Play.” This year’s interactive workshop was led by Dr. Rachel Fry of Rachel Fry Consulting. As a consulting psychologist, Fry focuses on empowering female business leaders to pursue personal and professional success.
Together, attendees explored the art of breaking barriers and overcoming obstacles, crafting a compelling story and building connections as a high-achieving woman. Fry also provided practical tips for participants to take their careers even further while prioritizing their well-being.
“It is a rich and informative time each year when we gather together successful, driven women professionals from across Birmingham for an evening of learning and togetherness,” said Lightfoot managing partner Melody H. Eagan. “We were thrilled by the response to this event and awed at the talented women who drive business in Birmingham.”
The term WOLF was coined when there were only a handful of female attorneys at Lightfoot, but they were empowered by a firm culture that promoted authenticity and allowed them to form a rare internal bond. Currently, Lightfoot boasts a remarkable group of female lawyers and firm leaders, and while each is outstanding in her own way, the group thrives on its collective strength, giving credence to its enduring name.
