Lightfoot’s Brian Kappel Speaks about College Sports Law

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (March 1, 2018) — Lightfoot, Franklin & White LLC associate Brian P. Kappel spoke to law and business school students at Duke University on February 10. Kappel’s presentation was part of the Duke Exchange program, in which business and legal professionals from across the country discussed evolving issues in the media, sports and entertainment industries.

Kappel took part in the panel addressing “The Law of College Sports: An Inside Look at NCAA Rules, Infractions and the Regulation of College Athletics.” Kappel is a member of Lightfoot’s NCAA Compliance and Investigations practice and represents NCAA member institutions in enforcement investigations.
