Lightfoot Welcomes Two New Associates

Charlie Hearn and Jordan Patterson join Birmingham office

Lightfoot, Franklin & White LLC has added two new lawyers, Charles M. Hearn and Jordan L. Patterson, who join the Birmingham office as associates.

Hearn has handled a variety of legal matters ranging from environmental contamination to banking and financial services, including representing lenders in large commercial loan transactions. Prior to practicing law, he served as a field artillery officer in the U.S. Marine Corps (reserve). Hearn graduated cum laude from Samford University’s Cumberland School of Law, where he was also Executive Editor of the American Journal of Trial Advocacy and a member of the national mock trial team.

Patterson defends companies and individuals facing civil and criminal litigation as well as government investigations. Before joining Lightfoot, she worked in the Washington D.C. office of a major international law firm. Patterson received her law and undergraduate degrees from the University of Alabama. While in law school, she clerked for a U.S. District Court judge and interned in the Civil Division at the Department of Justice.
