Lightfoot Partner Kevin Clark Presents at North Carolina Association of Defense Attorneys Annual Meeting

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (June 18, 2018) — Lightfoot, Franklin & White LLC partner Kevin E. Clark spoke at the annual meeting for the North Carolina Association of Defense Attorneys (NCADA) on June 16.
His presentation, “Leveraging Diversity in Litigation from Cradle to Grave,” centered on how to incorporate diversity considerations into every stage of preparation for a lawsuit.
The theme of the 41st annual NCADA meeting and seminar in Hilton Head, South Carolina, was “Preparation, Preparation, Preparation: What Sets Us Apart.” NCADA is a professional organization of nearly 900 attorneys and paralegals who devote a majority of their time representing the interests of business and individuals in civil litigation. The organization is committed to enhancing the skills, effectiveness and professionalism of civil trial lawyers, as well as anticipating and addressing issues relevant to defense lawyers and the civil justice system.
Clark’s practice focuses on general civil defense litigation, with an emphasis on product liability, toxic torts, employment discrimination and consumer fraud, including the defense of class action lawsuits. He regularly appears before state and federal courts in Alabama and has tried several jury cases. Over the years, Clark has been involved with the Defense Research Institute (DRI), having served in numerous leadership positions.
