Lightfoot, Franklin & White LLC hosted a women’s networking event on July 17, 2017, as part of ongoing efforts to promote the revitalization of downtown Birmingham. Dubbed “Prosecco at the Pizitz,” the event was organized by the Women of Lightfoot and the Alabama chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel.
The gathering took place at the Pizitz Building, a recently restored classic building in Birmingham’s historic retail and theater district that embodies the ongoing downtown renaissance. The goal of the event was to engage and celebrate local women and their role in the economic and cultural growth of Birmingham.
In addition to prosecco and cocktails, the event featured food from some of the vendors in the Pizitz Food Hall. Speakers discussed future plans for the exciting evolution of downtown Birmingham.
The panel included:
- Jane Hoerner, Bayer Properties
- Sally Mackin, The Woodlawn Foundation
- Myla Calhoun, Alabama Power Foundation
- Whitney Wright, Athena Collective
- Tenley Armstrong, Lightfoot, Franklin & White
