October 21, 2021
Lightfoot associate Bridget Harris was recently featured as a panelist in ALDA’s first ever Diversity, Equity and Inclusion panel. Bridget spoke alongside three other Alabama legal professionals, facilitating a multi-firm conversation about diversity and inclusion efforts in the legal community and throughout the recruiting process. Co-hosted by ADLA’s Women in the Law and Young Lawyer Sections, the panel served as CLE credit to those in attendance.
Bridget Harris has emerged as a young, distinguished voice on diversity and inclusion in the Birmingham legal community. She has served as a featured panelist for “Diversity and Inclusion in Big Law” hosted by the Magic City Bar Association, co-authored a Law360 article titled “Diversity’s Next Step: Developing Minority Partners,” co-authored a diversity piece for “For the Defense” magazine and was recently named to the National Black Lawyers “Top 40 Under 40” List, an honor she has received the last three years. Despite her consistent involvement in the legal community, Bridget remains dedicated to her litigation work, primarily handling cases in product liability, catastrophic injury, medical malpractice and commercial litigation
