Lightfoot’s six-week, in-person summer associate program immerses students in all stages of litigation at the firm’s Birmingham office. Summer clerks will experience firsthand the work of Lightfoot's trial lawyers in action by attending depositions, observing trials and working on meaningful assignments for Fortune 500 clients. The firm’s attorneys provide focused training, including teaching the summer associates the art of jury persuasion and preparing participants to deliver mock arguments in a local courtroom.
