November 16, 2021
Lightfoot Director of Legal Technology Sam McAllister has been recognized as a finalist among over 150 nominees in the 2021 American Legal Technology Awards. American Legal Technology annually recognizes law firms, courts, departments and individuals who excel in developing innovative products and services to equip their clients and practices.
McAllister was selected as an honoree in the “Law Firm” category for his work in litigation technology while at Lightfoot, all of which is done in-house. In today’s trial room, effective demonstratives are essential to conveying a client’s side to a jury. Some of Sam’s most notable work include a countdown bar chart illustrating the proper dosage issued by our client in a medical malpractice trial, a fetal heart rate monitoring model articulating the progression of heart rate records aligned with our client’s course of action and various multimedia exhibits and analysis often utilized in automotive cases. Sam is also responsible for impressive internal technology solutions, custom crafted for Lightfoot attorneys and clients. From an all-inclusive case database and software to strategize for every stage of a case to personalized technology for jury selection, Sam works tirelessly so Lightfoot attorneys can represent their clients well.
Beyond his work as Director of Litigation Technology, Sam has led the firm’s Case Clarity group for over a decade, providing collaboration to attorneys working on cases and streamlining communication with clients.
