Lightfoot Attorneys Attend LEAD1 Annual Fall Meeting

Lightfoot, Franklin & White LLC partners Henry Gimenez and Jack Sharman spoke at the 2019 Annual Fall Meeting hosted by The LEAD1 Association. The lawyers served on a panel about athletic director accountability and attestation on September 24. LEAD1 represents the athletics directors of the 130 member universities of the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS).

The event in Washington, D.C. featured sessions with discussions among athletic directors, a panel on Capitol Hill and the Celebration of College Sports Reception. The firm has previously sponsored the LEAD1 Institute and its attorneys have participated in seminars for the national organization.

Gimenez is a member of Lightfoot’s NCAA Compliance & Investigations practice group, a go-to team for colleges and universities seeking counsel and representation in matters involving NCAA compliance, campus investigations and related legal issues.
