Lightfoot Associate Bridget Harris named to The National Black Lawyers “Top 40 Under 40” for the third consecutive year

Lightfoot Associate Bridget Harris has been recognized by The National Black Lawyers as one of the “Top 40 Under 40” for the third year in a row. The National Black Lawyers issues this annual list in addition to their “Top 100” list to promote the legal excellence of Black attorneys and develop a strong network of professionals nationwide.
“I am honored to have been re-selected for the Alabama ‘Top 40 Under 40’ list for the third year in a row. As a double-minority navigating the legal profession, organizations such as The National Black Lawyers—consisting of the nation’s premier African American attorneys—remind me just how important it is for me to continuously pave the way for the next generation of minority lawyers through my professional achievements, leadership skills, and case results. I am proud to be backed by a firm that understands the importance of strategically developing each of its attorneys day-in and day-out.,” Harris shared.
Beyond her work in the courtroom, Harris has committed to promoting diversity, inclusion, and education in the legal field. She co-authored a piece on diversity recognized by the presitgous Burton Awards, served as a featured panelist for both the Magic City Bar Association and Alabama Lawyers Association, and most recently re appointed to the Alabama State Bar’s Helping Heroes in Healthcare Task Force for years 2021-2022.
