Lightfoot Adds Four Attorneys
One lateral associate, three first-year associates join firm

Lightfoot, Franklin & White LLC is pleased to welcome four new talented attorneys to the firm. Jacob Salow joins as a lateral associate, while Nicholas Langford, Kayla Williams and Tyler Yarbrough come aboard as first-year associates. All four attorneys will be based in the firm’s Birmingham office.
“We are always excited to welcome the next generation of talent into our ranks and this year’s group is no exception,” said managing partner Melody Eagan. “Each of these attorneys has demonstrated exceptional knowledge and skill, and we eagerly anticipate the contributions they will make at Lightfoot and the value they will provide to our clients.”
Salow works closely with a diverse range of defense clients, handling cases in appellate, automotive litigation, catastrophic injury claims, commercial disputes, healthcare litigation and medical malpractice defense. His experience includes drafting and presenting motions for summary judgment in wrongful death medical malpractice actions to successfully negotiating favorable settlements in high-stakes litigation. Salow is a graduate of the University of Alabama School of Law.
Langford, a former Lightfoot summer associate in both the 2021 and 2022 class, worked with the firm’s attorneys on various high-stakes product liability, NCAA and civil procedure matters. He holds a law degree from Duke University School of Law, where he also served as the articles editor for Duke’s Law & Contemporary Problems journal and worked as a research assistant for the Duke Center for Firearms Law.
Williams, another former Lightfoot summer associate, contributed to work on toxic tort, product liability, employment discrimination and collegiate name, image and likeness (NIL) matters. She earned her J.D. from Tulane University Law School, concurrently obtaining her sports law certification. Williams additionally holds a master’s degree in sports management from the University of Alabama.
Yarbrough is also a former Lightfoot summer associate from the 2021 and 2022 classes, where she gained valuable experience regarding products, commercial and environmental projects. Yarbrough earned her law degree from Cumberland School of Law, where she served as the Samford University Student Bar Association President and made significant contributions to the Law Review.
