Lightfoot Expands to Texas with the Opening of its Houston Office

Lightfoot, Franklin & White LLC is pleased to announce that it has expanded into the Texas market with the opening of its office in Houston, Texas.

"Expanding into the Texas market enables us to better serve the needs of existing clients who have significant interests in Texas and throughout the Southwest.”

The Houston office will serve the business community in the construction, manufacturing, energy and transportation industries.

Among the Houston office's attorneys will be Jerry L. Rios, who was hired as a partner.

“I have been trying cases in Texas for three decades and joining Lightfoot allows me to expand the geographic footprint of my legal practice and better assist our clients,” said Rios.

Rios brings significant experience to Lightfoot in the area of catastrophic personal injury actions, product liability, trucking and transportation, premises liability, security liability and consumer fraud claims. He is also heavily involved in alternative dispute resolution, serving as a mediator and arbitrator throughout Texas.

“We are excited to add Jerry’s 30 years of Texas practice to the existing Lightfoot lawyers licensed and practicing regularly in Texas on behalf of our clients,” Shuford said. “He is a great fit, and this is a move which really made a lot of sense from both sides.  Our Houston office allows us to provide value for our clients in new ways.”
