Founding Partner Sam Franklin Elected President-Elect of the American College of Trial Lawyers

Founding Lightfoot Partner Sam Franklin was elected as President-Elect of the American College of Trial Lawyers at the annual meeting of the College in Philadelphia last week. Sam has served on the Board of Regents of the American College of Trial Lawyers from 2009-13, as Secretary for 2014-2015, and as Treasurer for 2015-2016. The American College of Trial Lawyers is composed of the best of the trial bar from the United States and Canada and is widely considered to be the premier professional trial organization in North America. Founded in 1950, the College is an invitation only fellowship. The College maintains and seeks to improve the standards of trial practice, professionalism, ethics, and the administration of justice through education and public statements on important legal issues relating to its mission.
Lightfoot has six partners who are fellows of the American College of Trial Lawyers: Warren Lightfoot, Sam Franklin, Chris King, Harlan Prater, Adam Peck, and Mike Bell.
