Chandler Bailey Moderated Panel for PLAC Webinar on Third Party Liability

Lightfoot, Franklin & White LLC partner J. Chandler Bailey moderated a panel for a July 9, 2020, webinar hosted by the Product Liability Advisory Council (PLAC). The program was titled “COVID-19: Potential Liability to Third Parties.”

Panelists for the webinar discussed how third-party exposure claims can emerge and how to best defend them. Topics included best practices for protecting against third party liability, theories of liability and damages.

PLAC is a nonprofit association of product manufacturers, suppliers, retailers and select regulatory, litigation and appellate professionals. They work to shape the common law of product liability and complex regulation, provide guidance on changing regulations and strategically help corporations manage risk throughout the entire product lifecycle. 

For nearly 20 years, Bailey has represented product manufacturers and suppliers around the country in high-stakes cases involving catastrophic injuries and wrongful death. He has served as national and regional counsel for several of the country’s largest companies, representing them in serious, high-exposure lawsuits in more than 20 states.
