BTI Names Jack Sharman Client Service All-Star
February 15, 2022
The BTI Consulting Group has named Lightfoot partner Jack Sharman as a 2022 BTI Client Service All-Star. This honor comes with high distinction as it can only be achieved by corporate counsel independently naming an attorney with superior client service and is the only client-named recognition a lawyer can receive. Sharman was recognized in the White-Collar Criminal Defense and Corporate Investigations practice areas.
“This is a well-deserved honor for Jack and for Lightfoot,” said managing partner Melody Eagan. “Jack continues to set the bar for communicating, advocating for and truly partnering with our clients for the gold standard in client experience.”
While the firm was named to the BTI Honor Roll in 2020 for its work in complex commercial litigation, Sharman is the first Lightfoot partner recognized with this distinct award. Now in its 22nd year of publication, BTI’s 2022 list recognizes just 565 attorneys nationwide, only 14 of those in the White-Collar Criminal Defense practice area and 17 in Corporate Investigations. No attorney or firm can self-nominate or self-refer, and BTI relies on client input alone.
Beyond handing White-Collar Defense and Corporate Investigations matters, Sharman maintains a varied practice of Internal Disputes, Arbitration & Mediation Services, Directors’ & Officers’ Liability and Securities & Shareholder Disputes. Sharman steps in when clients need him the most. He has served as special counsel in numerous high-stakes government cases including the Whitewater investigation of President Bill Clinton, the impeachment investigation of a former Alabama Governor and a continued investigation into actions by President Donald Trump during the 2020 election. Sharman maintains his own White-Collar blog and podcast and is on the firm’s Recruiting and Marketing & Business Development committees.
