Adam Peck, Amber Hall and Bridget Harris Publish Business Alabama Article on Litigation Risks for Manufacturers
June 3, 2019
Lightfoot, Franklin & White LLC partner Adam Peck and associates Amber Hall and Bridget Harris have published an article with Business Alabama about how manufacturers in the state can manage litigation risks.
The article, titled “Top Lawsuit Risks for Alabama Manufacturers and How to Manage Them,” outlines the top three categories of lawsuits that pose a risk to manufacturers: defects in manufacturing and/or design, marketing defects and the class action.
“If these three risks are addressed through a manufacturer’s standard practices and procedures prior to a lawsuit walking through the door, it may fare better during settlement negotiations or at trial,” write the authors.
Peck has practiced at Lightfoot for nearly 30 years. His practice is devoted to trial work throughout the country with an emphasis on cases involving toxic torts, product liability and catastrophic injuries.
Hall represents clients in litigation involving medical malpractice and product liability.
Harris primarily practices in the areas of product liability, catastrophic injury, white collar criminal defense and corporate investigations, medical malpractice and commercial litigation.
