Johnny Johnson and Jared Levinthal Named to NLJ’s 2021 Litigation Trailblazers List
November 1, 2021
Lightfoot, Franklin & White LLC partners Johnny Johnson and Jared Levinthal have been selected for the National Law Journal's 2021 Litigation Trailblazers list. Both attorneys will be profiled in the publication's November/December issue.
The recognition spotlights "agents of change" and notable litigators across the country. Since 2013, these special supplements from the NLJ have recognized "professionals who have moved the needle in the legal industry — professionals who are truly Trailblazers."
Johnson is one of the Southeast’s most experienced and battle-tested major case lawyers. One of Lightfoot’s founding partners, he has spent more than 30 years defending leading companies against environmental and mass tort litigation, including class actions and individual toxic tort lawsuits. The National Law Journal also named Johnson an Energy and Environmental Trailblazer in 2017.
Based in Lightfoot's Houston office, Levinthal has represented plaintiffs and defendants in a wide range of litigation matters for nearly 25 years. He has successfully tried matters, in both arbitration and trial, involving commercial and business issues, product liability, professional malpractice and more. At his previous firm, he was named one of the “Top 100 Lawyers” in Houston by Thomson Reuters' Super Lawyers in 2019 and has appeared on its Texas Super Lawyers list since 2013.
